The Shappen Bar & Dining Rooms offers guests a stylish yet relaxed and informal dining experience. With a wealth of experience in San Fransisco, Dorset & Hampshire, our seasoned Chef Manash has prepared an elevated British Menu using seasonal produce and locally sourced fresh food. Menus change with the seasons and focus on quality over numbers.

Our stylised bar has been designed with our guest in mind and features on trend unique beers, wines and spirits carefully chosen to reflect today’s world of beverages. You’ll find we’ve even sourced many items from the UK rather than the America’s as part of our commitment to being socially responsible.

Weddings, Celebrations & Meetings

The Bisterne Suite at Moorhill is ideally suited to your bespoke country house wedding. With dedicated bar, outdoor terrace and garden our event space accommodates wedding breakfasts up to 70 guests and informal evening celebrations up to 100. Stylishly decorated, the Bisterne suite can be dressed to make your big day full of memories.

Ideal for Celebrations of all occasions including family celebrations and celebration of life. Adjoining the beautiful gardens and terrace with a dedicated bar, you will find nowhere better to make those lifetime memories.

Moorhill House is ideal for corporate meetings and retreats. This dedicated event space without pillars and natural daylight accommodates up to 40 delegates boardroom or cabaret and 80 theatre style.
